Fat Toad Farm is a small, family owned and operated goat dairy in Brookfield, Vermont specializing in farmstead Goat's Milk Caramel sauces (aka cajeta) in four varieties - Original, Vanilla Bean, Cinnamon and Salted Bourbon. Our 60 French Alpine dairy goats are milked every day, twice a day, and spend their summers grazing green Vermont pastures. Fat Toad Farm was one of the first small-scale artisan producers of Goat's Milk Caramel in the United States.

Fat Toad Farm’s hand-crafted goat's milk caramel (aka cajeta) comes in four varieties - Original, Vanilla Bean, Cinnamon and Salted Bourbon - and 5 sizes - 2 oz, 8 oz, quart, 1 gallon and 5 gallon. The caramel is made primarily with two simple ingredients - our goat's milk and organic sugar. This gives the caramel the most subtle of tangy overtones without being overly sweet. that are the hallmark of great goat’s milk. Chefs use our caramel as a delicious finishing touch to desserts and ice cream makers, such as Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams, use it has a sumptuous addition to their hallmark flavors.
