Important Tariff Information

July 11, 2018

Food Export Northeast

In light of recent developments regarding trade policies and tariffs, we'd like to provide some resources as you consider how these new issues might affect your company. Our partners at the USDA's Foreign Agricultural Service have provided information on tariffs imposed on U.S. products in their "GAIN" reports, linked below.

At Food Export-Midwest and Food Export-Northeast, our mission continues to focus on market development and helping U.S. companies find export success through all of our programs and services. As we begin the second half of 2018 we are committed to serve you and help you explore new markets and make the most of your current export markets.

Additionally, please let us know if you experience any challenges or concerns as a result of new tariffs or current trade climate. While we are not in a position to change policy, it's helpful to know what our suppliers are experiencing.

Watch for upcoming announcements of our 2019 programs and services that will be open for registration in August!  We look forward to working with you for the remainder of 2018 and beyond.
